IAFLL Code of Ethical and Professional Conduct
Please note the Code is intended to serve as a guide to its members and is made public so that others may be aware of recommended standards for professional and ethical practice in forensic linguistics. As an association whose membership comprises mostly academics and whose officers are volunteers with no paid staff, IAFLL does not have enforcement capacity with respect to its Code of Conduct.

Forensic Linguistic Data Repositories
Finding and accessing data is a challenge in forensic linguistics. Because forensic materials are often tied to sensitive legal proceedings or private correspondence, researchers must navigate ethical hurdles and privacy concerns. If you are looking for data available to researchers, we suggest you check the available repositories for forensic linguistic materials. The Aston Institute for Forensic Linguistics hosts the Forensic Linguistic Databank (FoLD) and Tammy Gales and Dakota Wing host ForensicLing.com. Both collections offer comprehensive archives of forensic linguistic data.

If you are looking for university programs, short courses, summer schools, classes and related events on forensic linguistics and language and law, Dakota Wing hosts a directory of available programs.
